Greetings that arrive before the guests do
Usually greetings are collected at the celebration itself. But they can also be gathered in advance: you send one link to family and friends, everyone records a short voice or video greeting on their own phone, and by the day of the celebration a film is ready.
On the day you simply turn on the TV. The birthday person, the couple or the parents celebrating their anniversary watch their loved ones speak to them one after another — including those who could not come.
You do not even need a party
This is the part people often miss: a greetings film does not need a big celebration. Not every birthday is a party — and it does not have to be.
- Grandpa turns 80 and prefers a quiet evening at home. The family collects greetings for two weeks and plays the film after dinner.
- A son or daughter living abroad has a birthday far from home. Parents, siblings and childhood friends record greetings, and the link to the film arrives in the morning.
- Mum retires after forty years at work. Her colleagues, former students and family send a few words each.
- A friend is going through a hard time. A film of warm words from dozens of people can lift a whole day.

How to prepare it
- Create a celebration on Memilove and choose to collect greetings in advance.
- Send the link to relatives and friends — by WhatsApp, Messenger or email. Ready-made message templates help.
- Guests record a greeting of up to two minutes on their own phone, with a photo or as a video. No app and no account.
- Greetings are collected until 24 hours before the celebration; then you put the film together — choose the order, the look and the music.
- On the day, play the film on the TV or send the link to the person you are celebrating.
Ask everyone to start with their name and one shared memory. A specific story is worth more than any general wish.
Ahead, at the celebration, or both
If there will be a celebration after all, you can collect greetings both ahead and on the day: the film collected beforehand is shown at the party, and the guests who are there record new greetings with a QR code. After the celebration you get one more film with everything together.
