Frequently asked questions
Do guests need an app?
No. A phone camera is enough — the QR code opens the page in the browser.
How long is a greeting?
Up to 2 minutes. Guests can listen back and re-record before sending.
What if guests don't know what to say?
Switch on questions for guests. Every celebration type has ready-made questions (e.g. "What is your funniest memory with the birthday person?"), and you can add your own. The guest chooses: a free greeting or an answer to a question. The feature is free.
Do other guests hear the greetings?
No. Only you hear them, unless you share the gallery link yourself.
How long are greetings stored?
60 days after the celebration. You can download everything during that time.
What if the celebration lasts longer than a day?
Each additional day or part of a day — 4.99 €. You can also extend the duration later in the portal.
Can I try it before the celebration?
Yes — and for free. Create a trial event, choose its look and record up to three test greetings. A paid event also lets you record three test greetings before it starts.
What if we receive no greetings at all?
We refund you. Email hi@memilove.com within 14 days of the event and we will refund everything paid for greetings.
Is this an audio guestbook phone?
Memilove is a digital alternative to an audio guestbook phone. No separate handset is needed: guests scan a QR code and record voice greetings in their own phone browsers. They can add a photo to the recording.
